71000 Duke Of Gloucester

Visiting the recycling centre in St Phillips can be a real treat.  Unfortunately I don't consider a visit something that requires me to take with me a camera, maybe after Saturday I will need to change this. Leaving the centre and turning left to pass Day's Road Traction maintenance Depot I was surprised to find 71000 Duke of Gloucster on shed in steam.

A view across the beginnings of the station and yard at Shillingworth. In the background an island platform emerges from an over bridge into a low level yard.

Track Plan Laid

Took some time out the other day to add batons and build the baseboards for Shillingworth. I have temporarily laid an initial track plan, making considerable changes to my ideas and thoughts, but have reverted to an earlier planned terminus with goods yard and parcels depot that I really like the look of. Following advice from my dad I have also taken a view of the plan I would not have considered, by creating a looped end to end on my 8x4 space terminating at an additional smaller terminus with shed facilities. Still playing with the design but pleased with the look so far.
